Client notes
Short notes from people who booked desk work. Length and tone vary on purpose.
“We ran the planning session the night before a large ETH-to-stable move. The buffer they wrote down was higher than I liked, but the fee window they marked saved me from submitting into a spike.”
“The fee timing review was only half an hour. I already had my pair. What I needed was a clearer window for Arbitrum on a Tuesday after US hours — and they gave me that without upselling a longer session.”
“My buffer audit showed I had been pasting 1% onto thin pools for months. The note was blunt about that. I still disagree with one of their alternate ranges, but the pool-depth framing stuck.”
“In-person at Centum felt slower than video chats I am used to, in a good way. They refused to look at a seed phrase screenshot a colleague tried to send — that alone made me trust the rest of the brief.”
Extended note: a rushed unlock week
Unlock Friday, fee spike, rewritten window
A client held a token with a Friday unlock and wanted to rotate into a stablecoin the same evening. Intake arrived late Thursday. The first fee window we marked collapsed by Friday noon when unrelated network activity climbed.
We rebuilt the brief around a quieter Saturday morning slot and widened the slippage buffer after checking pool depth at the new size. The client waited. Fill quality was closer to the rewritten range than to the panicked Friday attempt they nearly made alone.
Constraint that mattered: they would not bridge. Everything had to stay on one chain, which limited fee options but kept the checklist short.
